Lincoln Country Day School offers four classes. A child must be at least 2.9 years of age to attend LCD.

3-Day Three Year Olds:
YoungThrees-Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.  9:00 A.M. to Noon or
Older Threes-Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.  9:00 A.M. to Noon

This class, for many, is their first introduction to school. Our classroom provides a safe and secure place for friendships to be formed, sharing to occur and the love of learning to grow. Children learn to work in a group, to care for others, and to develop further confidence in their own abilities. Class placement is usually dependent upon the age of the child.

4-Day Four Year Olds:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.  9:10 A.M. to 12:10 P.M.

In this class we build on the concepts of friendships, sharing, independence and academic skills introduced in the three day program. This class is a kindergarten readiness class with the majority of the children moving to kindergarten the following September. For those who would benefit from another preschool year, the Pre-K class is a natural follow up.

5-Day Five Year Olds:
Monday through Friday  8:50 A.M. to 11:50 A.M.

The children in this class will all turn five either before or during the school year and will be eligible for kindergarten the following year. This class includes children who have been in other LCDS classes as well as children who have missed the kindergarten dates in their town and are interested in a Pre-K year. Our Pre-K curriculum prepares the children for a challenging kindergarten program.
